DIRECTOR, PRODUCT MARKETING

Reporting to VP, Marketing

Responsibilities include:
  • This role is responsible for leading the product marketing function for Rohati Systems.
  • Assess and quantify Go-to-market opportunities, positioning and messaging.
  • Create marketing materials and tools for the Rohati target market segments and audiences.
  • Identify and execute on solutions marketing initiatives with alliance ecosystem and Channel partners
  • Create content to support outbound marketing activities and lead generation
  • Support partner and customer meetings, including both formal presentation and open discussion of Rohati solutions.
  • Work cross functionally with product management, field sales and other functions to identify and prioritize opportunities and drive overall product marketing execution
  • Establish and communicate early customer traction by identifying and supporting sales with early market adopters & "beachhead" accounts.
Skills:
  • Knowledge and experience in understanding enterprise trends, drivers and requirements
  • Must bring strong skills in market analysis and specification of customer requirements, go-to-market planning, market positioning and messaging, and the development of marketing materials for enterprise accounts.
  • Must be a self-starter with excellent presentation and written communication skills with prior experience presenting to customers and in public forums.
  • Comfortable in a very fast paced, dynamic working environment

Regional Sales Manager

Reporting to VP Sales

Responsibilities include:
  • Responsible for all customer relationships and revenue for the Mid-western Region territory.
  • Establish early customer traction by identifying early market adopters & "beachhead" accounts.
  • Responsible for lead generation & prospecting within the territory.
  • Accurately forecast sales opportunities and execute sales strategy to ensure that revenue attainment and growth are exceeded.
  • Lead the customer account relationship by developing and maintaining high profile relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Use outstanding communication and presentation skills to communicate Rohati solutions to prospects and customers.
  • Actively seek business in identified market areas, orchestrate customer visits, analyze prospect´s business requirements, present proposed business solutions to enterprise accounts.
  • Create and manage strategic account plans that drive retention, penetration, profitability and growth of new accounts.
  • Provide input and direction to marketing for product feature development.
  • Champion the customer within the company ensuring all strategic customer goals are exceeded.
  • Develop the channel infrastructure in line with the company´s model to provide territory-wide support for pre & post sales activities
  • Provide support outside the territory on an as-needed basis.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of inside sales experience, cold calling, account follow up and pre qualification.
  • Account Rolodex that emphasizes 3west coast2 contacts and relationships (may also have mid central and east coast contacts as well).
  • College degree (bachelors degree preferred).
  • This position is based in the Mid-west
Key Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales management in networking and/or security industry.

Senior/Principal Technical Marketing Engineer

(depending on subject matter expertise and experience)

Responsibilities include:
  • This senior-level position in product management provides a unique opportunity to work in a multi-functional environment with product development, customers and marketing.
  • Work closely with product management and field sales on pre-sales activities
  • Test products in the lab environment and implement use cases to demonstrate end-to-end services
  • Work with customers on lab and early field trials
  • Write marketing collateral & white papers; prepare training material for field sales and customers
  • Test partner products for interoperability and produce end-to-end technical solution collateral
  • Support 3rd party product review and performance testing
  • Setup product demos at industry expos
Requirements:
  • Deep understanding of application security, directory. Authentication and authorization mechanism such as Web Access Management and/or Identity and Access Management.
  • Keen understanding of application infrastructure and how customers deploy application security products across the three application tiers (web tier, application-tier and database tier).
  • Excellent conceptual knowledge and hands-on experience of technologies listed below
    • Security and authentication/single-sign on services, such as SSL, Kerberos, NTLM, SAMLv2 and multi-factor authentication.
    • Directories such as Active Directory, Open LDAP and other LDAPv3 compliant user stores.
    • Applications that are web-based and client-server, such as Microsoft applications (e.g. SharePoint, Unified Communications), ERP/CRM applications (e.g. SAP, Oracle/PeopleSoft), packaged applications (e.g. Perforce), databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase).
    • Application middleware, such as J2EE, .NET, Websphere, Oracle/BEA Weblogic.
    • Special protocols/applications knowledge, such as Citrix, Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), SCADA, FIX, is a plus.
    • SOA protocols, such as SOAP, WS-*, XACML is a plus.

Skills:
  • Strong ability to present emerging technologies to customers, understand their requirements and communicate them effectively to engineering teams.
  • Application networking (Layers 4-7) and/or traditional networking (Layers 2 – 4) background is a plus.
  • Experience with appliance-based products is a plus.

Principal Software Engineers


Responsibilities include:
  • Design & develop high-speed network security & systems software on VxWorks & LINUX platforms running on multicore processors.
  • Design & develop high-availability & manageability software for chassis-based security appliance.
  • Work with hardware engineering team to develop, data path hardware modules.

SOFTWARE ENGINEER


Responsibilities include:
  • Translate business requirements into software design specifications.
  • Develop platform & application software using C, C++, & TCP/IP on Linux running on multi-core processors.
  • Develop interface management, forwarding table management, & network driver software.

Senior Software QA Engineers


Responsibilities include:
  • Set up in-house L-4-L-7 based test beds, using Spirent test center.
  • Manage & coordinate cross-functional teams in test framework development, using TCL/TK language.
  • Supervise & mentor 2-4 QA Engineers who perform QA testing.
  • Perform design verification tests, & automate using PERL language.

HARDWARE DESIGN ENGINEER


Responsibilities include:
  • Block level architecture, specification, & logic design on FPGAs.
  • Perform data path/application FPGA in networking field.
  • Work with board design teams in specification, design, & verify in action of functionality & timing, debug and bringup of FPGAs for complex hardware systems in the networking market.
  • Use of Verilog, Vera, Modelsim, synplicity & FPGA tools.
Key Requirements:

Senior Development-Test Engineer


Responsibilities include:

Systems Engineer


Responsibilities:
  • Support Regional Sales Manager in the sales engagement process with prospects and customers.
  • Be the primary technical conduit to the customer for the company.
  • Consult with customers and prospects on their solution needs to consistently win the technical recommendation.
  • Relate real world security and networking experience to customer problems while taking into account how Rohati is positioned against its competition.
  • Create the highest level of customer satisfaction by helping prospects plan, install, and support successful evaluations and pilots.
  • Work with customer service to introduce customers and ensure a smooth transition to the support team.
  • Provide product, market and other feedback to product management & the engineering team.
  • Document & update network & relevant 3rd party configuration details of customers´ networks.
  • Utilize your industry knowledge and public speaking skills to influence customer’s business policy in the area of enterprise security.
  • Participate in regular internal conference calls to remain current on company direction as well as share relevant information that might be useful to other team members.
  • Travel as needed to meet with prospective customers.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years as a systems engineer in the networking and/or security industry.
  • Excellent installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting skills on network and security systems.
  • Wide breath of experience in security and networking including exposure to LAN switching/routing, firewalls, IDS/IPS, anomaly detection and related policy management/security products/concepts.
  • Strong understanding of networking enterprise systems and related layers/protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of networking equipment, specifically Cisco LAN switching equipment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills in heterogeneous environments.
  • Strong communications (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
  • Team player, high energy, positive attitude.

Software Engineer


Responsibilities include:
  • Design & develop software to address management & platform infrastructure modules, using C, C++, TCP/IP, & SNMP, on LINUX platform running on multi-core processors
  • Develop functional & design specifications for the interface manager subsystem.
